Thames Path Walk - 2002

First Lock

The locks alone were worth the trip. We never grew tired of watching them in action.

Other Photos

Hamptob Court Entering Hampton Court from downstream. It was early so we just walked around the gardens and then continued on.

House Boat There were a lot of houseboats on the river here. This one had the Royal Couple as permanent guests on the balcony.

Nice View Scenic views were everywhere.

Ferry The Shepperton-Weybridge ferry saved us quite a bit of backtracking. It doesn't run all the time. You'd better check.

Lock Keeper The lock keepers were always neatly dressed and their locks nicely landscaped.
