A Sad Death.
On the afternoon of the 10th inst., at Four Holes church, the remains of Mrs. Cornelia E. Rickenbaker, nee Fersner, wife of Mr. Thos. E. "Rickenbaker, were laid to rest. A great crowd gathered to witness the last sad rites. Rev. B. M. Foreman conducted the obsequies. His text was: Numbers, 23rd chap. 10th verse: ''Let me die the death of the Righteous; and let my last end be like His."
Messrs. J. K. Stoudenmire, Michael Riley, Stephen Early, A. M. Bozard, Jno. Heaner and Fred Stroman, acted as pallbearers. Loving hands, gently laid her body to rest and strewed her grave with a wealth of flowers.
Mrs. Rickenbaker, was known by those who knew her, to be a devoted and loving wife; a ten-der and affectionate mother; a faithful Christian.
For over twenty years she has been a valued member of Four Holes church.
The deceased was 56 years 10 months and a few days old.
