Nicholas must be a child of Heini and Anna because: 1) there is no other viable choice for his parents, 2) he is the first appearance of a Nicholas in this Rickenbacher line (Anna's father and brother were named Nicholas) and 3) On his plat for 117 acres dated 7 Apr 1786 he is listed as owner of the adjacent 300 acres granted to Henry Rickenbacker on 3 Nov 1770.
