Nicholas Dill signed a receipt for 60 days pay in Capt. Rumph's Company on 30 May 1784. His wife, Mary, signed a receipt as "adm'r" 17 Jun 1785.
The usual age of confirmation was 16 - 18 so this Nicholas was born about 1741. He must be a son of Hans Jacob who would have been about 18 years old at his birth. Niclaus (10 in 1741) and Johannes (6 in 1741) would have been too young to have a son this age.
