Hurricane Dolly, July 23, 2008

Hurricane Dolly passed about 240 mi. Southwest of Sea Isle and came ashore on South Padre Island just north of Port Isabel as a minimal category 2 storm. There was a 1.5 to 2 foot tidal surge at Sea Isle that just came up to the vegetation line. There was no damage to the dunes.
