Tropical Storm Edouard, August 6, 2008

Edouard came ashore on the upper Texas Coast between High Island and Sabine Pass (45 mi NE of Sea Isle) as a 65 mph tropical storm. There may have been a 1.5 to 2 foot storm surge. There was no damage to Sea Isle. Edouard brought badly needed rain to the area and a media circus.
